AoS 50 pt. Command points and triumphs?

I recently had a game where I played 1500 points vs legions of Nagash (LoN). LoN kept his list to 1450 in order to get a starting command point. My Seraphon army was at 1500.

My question is: Does the extra command point effectively bring the LoN list to 1500, meaning no triumph for either of us, or can the LoN-player get both a command point and the triumph?
