Weee I shall do my first 5000p battle this weekend Will be facing O&G soo there will be lots and lots of models. We don't have a big table for this, so to be able to fit on the board we have disscused some house rules. At the beginning of each turn we roll a dice for each unit and the 3 units with the highest rolls will enter the board. This way we will ensure that we still can use tactics and not just a straight ahead movement due to lack of space.... Will post a battle report and som pics when fought
Avenger, if you want to reply to a topic; great. But, before you go poist-crazy, please take a look at the date the post was made. In this case, that was 26 nov 2009...That's a good month ago. Also, he has not replied anything like: sorry guys, it's not on/i'm not going to write it. Which implies one of the following a) he has forgotten this topic, or he's not online anymore. Thus, the report will not be written. b) The battle never took place, and he forgot to post that nothing was going to happen. Either way, this topic deserves to die a silent death. I believe replying to a very old topic is called 'Threadomancy', and it's not really appreciated on forums around. No big deal though, just remember this The Hunted
you can't really accuse him on "Threadomancy" since he did not do it to continue on a [long] dead discussion even tough the original post is a month old the fact that ther was no report could mean that the game did not take place YET and he was simply wishing im luck i am courious about 1 thing tough, would my post fall under the "f;aming" category? i never understood that word
Well, I don;t think i accused him of anything. I think I made people (who read this) more aware of threadomancy. Naturally, I aim it at him. But did i cross the line? And of course, the battle might be played in the near future, but then it's a whole different case (why post a good month Ahead of a battle...?). And no, what you just did isn't flaming. You were just defending him with some of your arguments. Nothing wrong with that, flaming is waay more personal and dirty. This is like I like it, people discussing things normally...Sort of...Utopia? The Hunted
