    Hello,

This is my forst post here but I've been a reader for a while. My friend is coming home in 2 months and plays vampire counts. He wants to have a 750 point game and I know he plans to run a blender lord in a group of skeletons. I have never tried most of the pieces in my below army so I was wondering if you guys think it stands a chance or if I should just build a standard list and use an old blood.

    List:
    Tehenhauin
    Skroxigor (20 skinks 2 krox)
    3 jingle swarms
    1 bastiladon (ark)

755 points. (We already agreed 755 was fine)

Please feel free to let me know if this is a terrible idea.

Hmm, I'm not sold on the Jungle Swarms + Ark combo. Quite honestly I've never tried it though, so it might be something worthwhile. If you can generate a couple more bases before you get to combat it would really help you.

Personally I'd rather take a unit of Ripperdactyls if you're up against some Skeletons, but I don't know your model limits.

And welcome to Lustria-Online!! Glad you got the courage up to post with us!

Im a real fan of the combo list, but at 750 points you cant take enough Bastiladons to make it worth while. (I enjoy at least 2)
Tehenhauin isn't that great when you only have 3 swarms and you dont make many per turn with out the 2nd bastiladon.
This list is fun to play at 2000 point minimum, but there it is really quite fun!
Hope i helped in some way!

Thanks guys. That was my concern too, I was worried it might only be viable in bigger point games.

A real fan of the combo list you say, you are of a rare breed. Would you call the swarm combo out as competetively viable? Everybody here seems to have so little trust in the combo that they did not even try it out, what are your experiences with it? This list hinges hard on the combo, a weak variation of it even because it is a low point combo. Interested in what you think.

Haha yes i suppose i am! i love the combo! Its not always great against some armies like empire, but each swarm throws 5 poison attacks and Tehenhauin is great fun to play with. I do think the list needs to have at least 2000 pts for you to get the most out of it with your swarms and bastilidons. Results wise its about a toss up. its obviously not the most competitive list, but it is very fun when it goes right (and you will know when it does) and i am a die hard fan of the combo. Jungle swarms all the way!!!
