8th Ed. 7th Ed fighting with spears

    The notation says can fight in two ranks. Does that mean my 2nd rank gets full attacks? (The bite and the spear) or just the spear attacks.

    When we had the...
    7th edition Lizardmen book with 7th edition BRB,
    we got 2 attacks from the first rank,
    and 2 attacks from the second rank. :)

    Otherwise we only got 1 attack from the sacond ranks. :(

    the current codex doesnt have bite attacks, that was the previous codex... were they both present in 7th ed?

    anyways, with spears:

    7th ed; old codex, 2A from front rank, 1A from 2nd rank
    7th ed; current codex, 2A from front rank, 2A from 2nd rank
    8th ed; 2A from front rank, 1A from 2nd and 3rd ranks.

    Thanks for the clarifcation. The full 2 attacks from the second certianly help a unit with such low init. I love the new 8th system of back ranks filling in the front for counter attacks so maybe I'll try and convince him of the new way.
