Hey, trying to play around with 7th ed lists. I usually prefer taking an Old Blood on Carnosaur, but i like that Kroq counts a unit of Cold One Riders as core. I play high elves too, so I am not used to taking 3 core, so this is a way to fit a special unit into that catagory.

    Lord
    Kroq-Gar

    Hero
Skink Priest, Lvl 2, Engine of the Gods, Plaque of Tepok, Dispell Scroll
    Oxyotl(chameleon skink hero)

    Core
Cold One Cavalry X 5, Standard, Musician, War Banner
    Skinks X 10
Saurus X 15, Standard, Muscian, Spears

    Special
    Chameleon Skinks X 6

    Rare
    Salamaders X 3

I figured i would give the new sallies a try, i think they can be interesting. I hate that skinks lost scouting, therefor I have to use a unit of Chameleons, which i love for march blocking ect, and their improved BS over regular skinks is always nice, I have always been good at keeping skinks outa trouble. Id like to try Oxyotl, he seems a bit over priced, but he does have some potential.

btw anyone know what Kroq-Gars US is now since carnosaurs are no longer Monstrous creatures

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't any mount with more then one wound a monstrous mount?
Your list is cool, but it seems to be lacking a bit of solid units. The single skink and saurus units don't look like much.

It is a monstrous mount if unit strenght is 5+. Don't have my book around, but you'll only have to look at 'unit strenght' in the register
