I'm playing at a tournament, 800 points with 25% core, 25% on heroes max, and rare, as well as 50% on special. How should I approach it?

    My list is:
Scar vet w./ gold sigil sword
    Spriest with diadem of power
    19 saurus
    17 skinks skirmishers
    1 sallie
    3 krox

Ive never played 800, but I've played a fair few 1000 lists and as I would recommend the same rough setup:

1: A big unit of Saurus. They're tough little nuggets that pack a punch, top that with spears (in a unit of 25ish) and you have really good combat.

2: Flanking unit. I use more Saurus, but krox are a safe bet too.

3: Enough magic control, defensive / offensive. Diadem of power is good, scroll maybe for defensive. Almost certainly the plaque of tepok to grab another spell. Heavens is really good imo. Some re-rolls on 1's or making an enemy with poison re-roll 6's could really help. Plus, Comet / uranons / CHAIN LIGHTNING!!!!

*Clears throat* Sorry about that... its an exciting spell :3

What you have seems alright to me, If not that you maybe dont have as many Saurus as I would. You could easily be outnumbered and ran down, Maybe try buffing them to 20 minimum each, or even one unit, if you use them tactically you should be absolutely dominating.

Sallies are always a safe bet though

Hope I could help somewhat :D

I could drop two skinks and take another saurus...
