I started collecting Lizardmen a few years ago, I collected 40K and one day picked up the Lizardman book and fell in love with the art, fluff and models. Around the same time I was given an old box set of old lizardmen and bretonians, skinks with bows are a classic :-)
I decided to build up an army of Sotek, all skinks led by Tehenhauin (a per lustria book) and bought a pile of skinks... however one thing lead to another and my Lizardmen were left in a case to go dusty.
I guess of all the armies to do that with Lizardmen kind of make sense and I'm almost pleased because now I'm a lot more mature, I actually bother to paint things properly and take off mould lines etc. Fortunatly i didn't get round to painting many of my lizardmen so I have a golden oppertunity now to make an really nice army.
To cut this short, the problem is that I have never played warhammer properly, I can't afford a rule book (i'm saving for one though) and apart from reading through the new army book I'm a total noob. My local GW manager game me a bit of an intro game in which I lost to his skaven.. painful. Also the models I have don't make much sense and are deffinatly not legal.. you have some 25% weighting thing in fantasy? I'm a bit lost and this place seemed a great place to start :-)
I guess I'll post up some pictures and questions, have a look around. If anyone has any help or advise to offer I'd love to hear it.

As far as introductions go I'm an 18 year old student of economics, I live in North West England. I can't spell very well but thats mainly because I'm dyslexic. I started collecting warhammer 6 years ago (LOTRs), I most like converting, collecting and fluff but in the last year i've properly got into painting and battling.
