3 maxed chameleons, couple big blocks saurus warriors, slann with either shadows or light. Deploy your infantry in line so stone throwers wont do that much damage

    No GWs on dorfs? wtf??

I would split up my chameleons into 5 or 6 man units and assign each one to a war machine. I would even take some teradons for that list. Leave any large targets at home and then take lore of light on a slann and maybe even do a life and a light slann.

Yeah, Chameleons are good, but coupled with terradons, they are much more effective. If setup blocks a nice clean line to the war machines for the chameleons, Terradons will pick up the slack.

    A good choice imo

What do you mean by much more effective? How?

At 3000 points, the stunty will probably try to deny your access with your chameleons. The terradons will get the vanguard move (12 inches before the first turn, no charge if you go first, but you can charge if you second). Now, let's say that your chameleons cannot get in a good position to shoot one of the war machines. The teradons can get within charging (or at least shooting) distance fairly easily, there by picking up the slack (as was mentioned above).

I am just having a hard time finding a whole lot of use out terradons in this edition. Maybe I am wrong but they seem to just get charges all the time.
