Yes, yes, I know I have not posted some of the images I said I would... it has been pretty crazy lately!

I have been scratch sculpting a lot of stuff, and I was dealing with making moulds and casting for most of the last week!

As Core competency approaches, I found out that I needed to make an objective marker! So, I grabbed the sculpey and green stuff to put this together. The bulk of it is sculpey, with vines, leaves and a snake on the top made from green stuff.

I learned that the GW foundation paints are very handy for painting aquarium plants so that they look less like plastic. I even used the same colors on them as I did for painting my sculpted leaves.

Here's an image:

It looks pretty awesome, good work.

I like it, very good work. You did a great job at weathering the rocks and the base is done nicely as well.

Thanks!

The snake head was originally sculpted for thie diorama that I did about 5 years ago. I had made moulds of each side so that I could replicate 4 of them.:

Not sure why this pic is fuzzy. It's just about the same as the objective marker in size and rez.. oh well. Gives you the idea at least

:jawdrop: Wow, THAT is amazing. Hopefully i'll be able to do stuff like that in time!

Man youre so good at this.... I just hope I can reach your level someday.

I very much like the little snake on top of the marker.
