Through the marshlands scale skinned ride

strong and bulky, tough their hide

with saddles, strapped upon so tight

across the river in steady flight

For Tzunki, the rivers keeper!

Marching through the jungle ground,

upon the scaly feral mount,

brave and strong, the riders come,

allays the charge begun.

For Sotek, the vengeful!

Spears of stone as black as night,

had the foes filled with fright,

beast and rider strikes with might,

None shall live to tell this sight.

For Chotec, burning sun!

And though the targets would attack,

the scaly skin of riders bag,

cannot be bested by their hack,

the men will see their strength in lag.

For Quetzl, the protector!

Upon the ground blood is spilled,

Soon with fear the foes instilled,

fleeing men of fear now chilled,

runs in terror not to be killed.

For Huanchi, the lord of hunts!

In hard pursuit, impales and slay,

hunting down the helpless prey.

The sun will rise and shine its ray,

despite no men shall see the day.

For the Old Ones, their plans remain!

- Now You guys come up with the rest of the Old Ones verses, I think I need four or five of them o.O

What are you going to do with them?

Rhyme some more! :-D Really, I have just this thought of saurus cavalry marching through the jungle humming a war song, dedicated to all the Old Ones :-)

The annoying part is, that I started with constant rhymes and now I have to continue that way o.O
