7th Ed. Aditionnal weapon + shield question

    The question is quite simple: due to the fact that Kuraqs and Scars can now have an add. weapon, i just wanted to know if a character can have both an additionnal weapon and a shield!

    I suppose you could buy them both, but you cannot wield both at the same time. One or the other, end of story.

    There is an advantage to buying a shield though. When you are being shot at you use the extra +1 from shields. When close combat begins, you may choose to gain the extra attack from an additional hand weapon, but you will forfeit all armor the shield can provide.

    I used to do the same thing HW+S and then a good 2 hander for crushing things in combat.
