Recycled, just because I'm using what use to be a 7thE List!...Don't be scared! ;)

I've made 3 or 4 games in 8th, and this is what i came with:

    Slann Mage-Priest @ 395 Pts
    # Focus of Mystery
    # Focused Rumination
    Lore of Life
Cupped Hands of the Old Ones
    BSB

    14 Skink Skirmishers @ 98 Pts

    20 Saurus Warriors,St,Mus @ 238 Pts

    20 Saurus Warriors,St,Mus @ 238 Pts

    6 Chameleon Skinks @ 72 Pts

    6 Chameleon Skinks @ 72 Pts

    6 Kroxigors @ 330 Pts

    16 Temple Guard, FC @ 291 Pts

    3 Terradon Riders @ 90 Pts

    1 Ancient Stegadon @ 275 Pts

    2 Salamander Hunting Packs @ 150 Pts

I've been playing against a Dwarf army and Empire, and I like it! :D

A single Stegadon is not a issue if you have a TG ou Kroxigor unit around!...Altought is a fire magnet, you can easely restote all wound to max with lore of life. T10 will help against BT and Cannos. A.Steg will not break ranks as easy as they did...I must remember to support them!

Chameleons are priceless. My oponente learn to target them first...wich is good, since he will not be firing agaisnt Kroxs or TG!...and if they are ignored, they will shoot to death warmachines!

Terradons are OK! Not the mandatory choice that the where in 7th, but still, pretty decent!

Slaan is the King of magic!...Even against Dwarf Anti-magic (+4DD for start...) and bad roles You can always cast 2 ou 3 spells. Sometimes, you must ignore Throne of Vines...not enouth PD.

Saurus and Skinks Skirmisher are pretty the same. No need for spears, though!

Salamander shoul be in 2x1, but with the new Panic test rules...and the shortage of points for Extra handlers,I'll try the "merged"version!

Kroxigors are the big issue here. Expensive models (€€€ and point wise) in big expensive unit with T4,Sv4+,3W, ASL. I believe they are a good hammer, and Lore of Life will help keep them alive!

So Guys, what do you think?

I personally am not a big fan of stacking cupped hands with lore of life and tend to suggest that if people can find the 20 extra points they take Bane Head and Feedback Scroll. I find that it is a great combo for taking out a high level wizard who is hiding out of sight behind enemy lines.

Cupped Hands is a must in a Slaan. When I needed a 2+ "miscat" prevention from Throneof Vines...It failed! Yes 2+, and I roll 1...twice.

I'm also considering Lore of Ligth. I10 WS10, ASF and -1 to Hit is pretty good agains gun lines!
