Hey, I'm looking to build up my Lizard army (finally) to 4k.

I'm thinking a battle line of Saurus + TG w/ Slann would be the main part of the army . I'd quite like to include an Oldblood on Carnosaur to take out gribbly monsters.

I'd also like to use LoLight instead of the usual Life.

Any tips/sample lists people can recommend?

i would agree with your choice to use light i use it myself and its great for buffing our saurus/tg. i have only had one game at 4k and it wasnt using my lizardmen but the thing i took from the game was there is a defiante lack of space for flanking. My game involved a lot of units ending up fact to face in the middle of the field. With that in mind i think solid blocks of saurus is the riught way to go the skinks just cant use their extra speed to any advantage.

At 4k, if i ever get there, I'll probably run a life and light slann in TG units with the free power dice rule attached and rely on some larger cc units to cover me rather than a cannon magnet known as the carny.

i would go about a 4k army very similarly. i'd want to take at least 6 blocks of 20 saurus w/spears, temple guard, and definitely a slaan. there's definitely room for some salamanders and chameleon skinks and both lords you plan on taking. consider paying 50 points on your slaan to take focus of mystery, that way you get enough augment spells from light to cast on your large quantity of troops.
