8th Ed. Another question

    If I mount my scar-vet on a cold one, does that mean I cannot attach him to infantry units (saurus units to be precise)?

    The scar vet can join another unit, it is only characters on monsters that cannot join units. However, a template weapon/spell can pick him out of the unit since he will be of a different unit type.

    Thanx a ton. Could someone move this to the correct forum, please?

    Also, is that a rule for everyone or just Lizards? Sorry, I'm away from my books right now and can't look anything up. I have an opponent coming up who's a real rules lawyer, so I need to be able to find everything he might question.

    Thanks for pointing that out, I've moved the thread to Rules Help.

    It is a rule in the 8th edition BRB and applies to every army.
