Hi everyone. I'm restarting Lizardmen in 7th edition and I'm curious if anyone knows the size difference, or better yet... provide side-by-side comparison photos of the 6th ed metal Temple Guards to the new 7th ed plastic ones. Thanks in advance for any input.

    ive been wondering this aswell,
theres no size difference to my knowledge but there is look differences obviously, ive bought the old TG a little while back and bought some halberds/arms from the new boxed set off of a website hoping to have the old TG (with the new halberds and exra stuff added on to the old shields to make them look more scary) and will be mixing them within the new TG hopefully having an even more mixed yet scary uniformed TG unit to protect my slann!!

has anyone done this or thought of this idea?? if so please let me know as this is my next challenge

    thankyou loads, alex :)

I asked the same question on The Pyramid Vault and few have confirmed that the new plastics are slightly taller and bulkier than the old metal ones. I suppose this will be perfect for my needs... I'm going to use the metal Temple Guards as Spear Saurus and the new plastic Temple Guards as Temple Guards. Admittedly.. I never liked the Saurus warriors plastics.. don't hate em.. just didn't think they represented big lumbering lizards very well (they looked emaciated IMO).

I see where you're coming from, and your idea should work out just fine. :D

I agree, they look kinda spindly in the midsection...

Glad I'm not the only one that thought that! I mean, it'd be cool if their stats were of something that is agile..

Well, atleast this will be taken care of.. lucky for me to find 25 metal Temple Guards for 35 bucks (bare metal!) Now.. just gotta find someone to buy/trade my plastic Saurus warriors off me.

i haveuad of 16, made up of both. They are the same size wise and look good together, BUT they will not line up together, so I have one file of just theold ones and the new ones make the other 4 files.. Its because of the New ones tails
