Well stuff keeps coming up and I'm not the best multitasker, so I extended things another 24 hours.

Officially the new deadline is midnight US Central time on May 3rd which is technically the start of May 4th, but given how fuzzy my schedule is and how the contests are usually fairly informal, anyone who wants a little extra time, let me know.

You are not the only one who sent me a question, so I'm going to try to take the time to address editorial concerns, so it may be another day or two before I post the entries, but sit tight.

We got a good batch with some well written pieces. It will be worth the wait.
