I pledge to finish building and painting my 8 piece modular river, and finish painting my mushroom forest.

I am sad to say that I won't be able to complete my painting pledge for this month. Darn school has me all tied up with papers/finals coming up very soon. I should, however, have them done for May's painting pledge.

Yep, doesn't look like mine will be finished, though the skinks are just needing a couple of finishing touches. Terradons are cleaned, but not quite assembled yet. This weekend should see most of the work being done.

When I wrote that I'd be "basecoating" my skinks I thought it meant just painting them black, but now I read that what I wanted to do was called undercoating. I tried to paint them anyway to keep my promise but I fear I didn't get very far, so I failed my pledge, too. But next month...

Well... I sorta completed my task.
I actually have a 1250 point army I can field on their bases.

However I ran out of primer, and so couldn't get my riders done up for my terradons yet. But the terradons are assembled, and their bases are glued up so I can sit them on there.

I would guess egg trays, but the top looks too smooth for that.. Either way, they look really cool! Great work.

Shrooms are tennis balls, cut in half, and flipped inside out???

The bases on the shrooms look like toilet paper rolls. I'd have to agree on the inside out tennis ball theory.

Aprilsaurus nailed it. They are indeed tennis balls cut in half and turned inside out. The stems are wine corks. The whole project clocked in at $0.00
