    Hey guys,

I'm throwing this list on here just to see what you think. Since this is the 'Ard Boyz tournament and all, I'm intending to bring the sickest list I could think of because I'm here to win this tournament, not my usual playing for fun. I prefer to be outnumbered in my matches, which is why my list is as follows, plus, I have yet to meet an opponent that manages to take out my Slann unit. So, here goes!.

Slann- General, BSB, Focus of Mystery, The Focused Rumination, Higher State of Consciousness, The Becalming Cogitation, Cupped Hands of the Old Ones, Obsidian Lodestone, Rampager's Standard, and the Lore of Life.

    Chakax, enough said.

Temple Guard- x30, Full Command, Wailing Banner, and the Champion has the Sword of Swift Slaying.

    Terradons- x3

    Terradons- x3

Skink Skirmishers- x15, javelins and shields

Skink Skirmishers- x15, javelins and shields

    Saurus Warriors- x24, Full Command

    Saurus Warriors- x24, Full Command

    Salamanders- x2

    Salamanders- x2

    Salamanders- x2

That comes to 2998 or something around there. Obviously, this is a very compact list that I intend to march straight for the foe, and crush every unit that dare get in my way. The Salamanders will run for the sole purpose of obliterating horde armies like Skaven and such, while also starting to tack on wounds to elite, high armored units. The Slann is near invincible in this list, the only thing I can think of that can kill him is one of the unit-targetting super spells like Dweller's Below and The Final Transmutation, hence, I added the Becalming Cogitation to shut down those annoying wizards who would throw 6 dice for one of those insta kill spells, no irresistable force, I dare them to try! Let me know what you guys think.

i'd invest in chameleon skinks instead of the terradons and maybe look into a banehead/feedback scroll combo :) With life im not sure you are going to need the cupped hands and maybe a warbanner instead of the wailing banner on the TG. Other than that everything looks great!

So I decided to remove one unit of Terradons and one unit of the Salamanders to make room for 2 units of 5 Chameleon skinks. Although I understand the Feedback scroll combo, to me it seems that it'd be too easy for opponent to Ward save the damage and not to mention it's a 5+ and the maximum amount of dice usable is 6. I prefer the Cupped Hands of the Old Ones because if my Throne of Vines somehow fails, I'll be able to save my toad from possible destruction. Because as far as I'm concerned, nothing in the game can possibly get to that toad, unless y'all know of something.

Also, would having the +1 combat res on the TG really be better than causing terror? Having a chance to force my enemy to flee, plus a chance to reduce WS to 1?

terror really isn't as great as it used to be with the ability to reroll LD tests with BSBs. I mean it happens but not enough :/ i think the Combat res is better and is a nice boost :D

So I'm dropping the Rampager's Standard for the Inspiring Presence standard, as well as dropping the terror for War Banner. Question though, should I give the TG champ the Terrifying Mask of EEE! so I can keep Terror, or should I just give him some kind of magic weapon?

Also, made one unit of Terradons upgraded to 4 and brought in 2 units of 6 Chameleons. I gained quite a few points back, and I'm thinking of dropping one unit of Sallies and maybe altering my list to fit in a Ancient Stegadon and a skink priest with the Blood Statuette of Spite. Any thoughts?

I'd be tempted to drop chakax, despite him being my fav lizzie charatcer and take a skink preist on A.steg with EOTG. Also i'm not sure what you'ld drop but i feel your saurus numbers may be a little low, but it can definately work.

Other than that i think your good to go!

About your list, I would keep the slann build the way you have it, the temple guard should have the sun standard. In Ard Boyz people seem to bring a lot of shooting. -2 from within 12 and -1 from over 12 could help keep some of those shots from hitting. adding +1 to combat res is good but not in Ard Boyz. Also consider dropping Chakax for a much better character. I am adding Teeto"Eko to my list. with the slann buffing life. You could drop a comet on the board behind the enemies line. This way he will have to really figure out where he wants to spend his dice. He is a level 2 lore master of heavens. Plus he could role with irresistable on any doubles on a 3+. He is also he is 80 points cheaper. Also before the game starts he roles a D3 amount of redeploy units. Also I find that my skinks don't do much in this large of a game. I myself am running 4 stegadons right up the gut of my opponenet. I still have my 2 large blocks of saurus warriors and my large block of temple guard along with a couple of slamanders. I have a guy who brings the pain with his 2 steam tanks. So I have to do something about them. I have another guy who brings nasty laser cannons that need to be dealt with ASAP. Anyways good luck.
