8th Ed. Ark of Sotek... how cumulative are they?

the wording in the book has me wondering just a bit.....

if you have one Jungle Swarm within 6" of 2 Bastiladons (both with Arks of Sotek) would you get to roll twice at the end of the phase to see if you generate a new Swarm, or just once? at first I assumed you would get two rolls, but after re-reading the section it almost sounds like it doesn't stack. ie, the Swarm just checks to see if it's within 6" of an Ark... but (obviously) I'm not entirely certain how it plays out with 1 Swarm and multiple Arks (or I guess even with multiple Swarms and Arks).

I would think you would check for each Ark individually.
(unless it specificaly says otherwise)

I concur with n810. Since each ark has the chance to generate swarms, the swarm on the battlefield would check for each ark within range.

looks like my opponents seem to agree as well...... so I think that's enough for me! each Ark can generate a new Swarm model on a 4+ so long as its within 6" of the nominated unit.

heh, this argument actually came up as we were feeling things! the Solar Engine was the (objectively) better choice even when the Arks' abilities stack..... so there's no need to try to make them *worse*...
