Hi Guys! Quite some time ago now I decided to create a Excel spreadsheet to make it easier to create army lists. After testing it I have decided to upload it for all you guys! It allows you to select a unit and it's number and automatically calculates its points. However it cannot do wargear due to spreadsheet limitations so you have to enter that by yourself. Anyways link is here:http://host-a.net/Monkeys_Uncle/Lizardmen Roster.xlsx Password is lustr1a as usual. Fell free to try and give me feedback! Cheers, Bez P.S. It's in Office 2007 format, which makes it smaller but not compatible with earlier versions. If you want a backward compatible file I can upload one. Hope it makes your life easier! EDIT: Just thought I'd warn you, only alter the stuff on Sheet 1! Sheet 2 is just for storing the unit profiles and shouldn't be used for creating an army list.
Pretty sweet, I was making one too but I guess you were faster than me, about the wargear I might be able to help out with that
How might you be able to assist with wargear? I know Excel can support Basic, but I don't know much about Basic and what it's capabilities are. I was thinking of doing a full-blown programming version (using GM or Delphi) but haven't got round to one yet. Cheers, Bez
By the way... If you alter the information on Sheet 2 you can easily convert the system to use any other Warhammer Army.
when you go on the website click on War-hammer then animated army-lists go into Lizard-men and then Lizard-men army generator
STOP HIJACKING MY THREAD!!!!!! That looks like a pretty useful tool. To anybody that had tried my Spreadsheet, what do you think of it? How could it be improved? Is it easy to use? If it is then I've probably got good results for my ICT Coursework! Cheers, Bez
About the upgrade items try making a sheet (a 3rd one) with all the units and then below them name all their upgrades, then in your first sheet the upgrade box should refer to those and of course the names should match. Also see if you can add the mounts when you for example make a CoC
Just google army builder thats what I use has all the army's and wargear throws up when you break the rules als o has addons so you can add rules for different scenarios etc but however it does seem to be missing the hide of the cold ones wargear all in all good system really
