started playing 40k and whfb some 10 odd years ago (when i was 12) and since have always had an interest in the hobby, just could never seem to really dive full into it. couple weeks ago i finally finished school after graduating from uconn and have come back with a much renewed interest.

i have to say the forum community is one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises, and this forum is awesome.

however, with all that said i'm still a terrible noobie. i've played maybe a half dozen games the entire time i've been interested in the hobby (all with my brother), and my miniature range consists of about 2k points worth of space marines and 1.2k of lizardmen, all of which are at least 6 years old. my space marine models, especially the tanks, are pretty mangled after my clumsy 12 year old hands tried to glue them together with really no idea or care in the world :D half of them i painted when i was young, so look terrible, and i have about 10-15 good looking models i painted about a year ago. all in all i'm in pretty sorry shape, but i have a renewed interest and plenty of time on my hands now.

anyways, sorry about the rambling post :shamefullyembarrased: i tend to drone on and on...

i was also wondering if anyone on the forum lives in the western connecticut area, and wouldn't mind letting me know of any good scenes in the area that would welcome a noobie and allow me to watch and ask questions (or maybe even give me a walk through game :jawdrop: )

thanks!
