Hey all,
Just painted first mini in over 10 years! I got a 'start collecting!' box, still assembling it. I will paint the carnosaur last, I want to improve my painting before then! Last time I was into warhammer was when I was younger, just painting not playing, mostly lord of the rings (evil armies) but then tried out skaven and eventually lizardmen (battalion of each plus a couple random characters). Never got into 40k, but liked fantasy lore. Currently fascinated by 40k lore and going to try a couple minis, but mostly interested in picking up where I left off with seraphon (they're still lizardmen to me!) Big WoW player but wanted to get back into this hobby.
Last time I painted I was very basic, always one thick coat, sometimes watered down, no washes, dollar store paints. Trying to do things properly this time around, and will be checking out all of the awesome posts/guides around here!
