Unlike our new super march-shooting salamanders, the razordons actually have an entry on their rules stating 'they cannot shoot if they march.' I'm guessing this trumps the new skirmisher march and shoot ability, as the army book usually takes precedence. Any thoughts?
as army books override brb iwould say so, i never actually used them for regular shooting, only used them as escorts and flank protectors.
There is a small side note somewhere can't quite remeber where saying the rulebook overides codexes older than it.
The note saying the rulebook overrides army books is in the army list composition section of the BRB, since they completely changed from slots to percentages. In basically every other case, the army books still overrule the BRB. Thus for common magic items as an example, we use the points listed in the army book not the new points in the BRB. So yeah, since there is no mention in the FAQ, razordons cannot march and shoot. They were outclassed by salamanders in 7th ed, and now they are not only outclassed but a generally poor choice unfortunately.
