    Hey,

I am really new to Warhammer so I’m sure if this will work at all, but I hear people bashing the bastiladon a lot because since the Slann is so good you really want to spending all of your power dice on it rather than the solar engine. I was wondering what people thought about not taking a Slann and instead taking 3 or more bastiladons and putting all of your power dice on them? Just having 3 of them walking across the field laser beaming stuff sounds interesting to me.

    Thanks,

If I was running without a Slann in 2500+ points, I'd probably go two Solardons, an Engine of the Gods and a couple Skink priests. I haven't tried it yet because I really like High Magic and Wandering Deliberaitons but I think a no-Slann list is more viable under the new book than the old one.

If I wasn't running a slan I would take two priests, with as many buffs as possible., two lazordons and an engine

Given that I normally take a slan AND two priests, it's actually not to bad points wise either...
The lazordons make good babysitters for saurus blocks, and can add a thunderstomp to combat if needed,
burning alignment is awesome, even without an FAQ, but it needs backing up with some heavy hitters to protect it in combat.

I think it's definitely a list with promise.
