Hi! I am new to the whole forum thing and stuff and I know that my guys aren't painted that well but i was hoping for some comments. So I present to you my painted battalion set, 20 saurus warriors, Cold One Cavalry, 12 Skink skirmishers, 10 Temple guard. + an additional 2 skink priests and a oldblood. I did a typical looking army i know. but I have to say that i personally really like the GW blue models. I already have a desert themed board so i went with an Oasis like theme for my Lizardmen.

This is the end of the Battalion set but i ordered 2 skink priests with it and i converted a tyranid into a saurus oldblood/ scar-vet. I have to say i think that the skink priest are the best models I've ever painted, not that I've painted to many because I'm only 15 and have been playing for only a couple years... IMG_1973.jpg

    The Oldblood (my first conversion)

I used a tyranid body and bits from the battalion kit

    cool stuff :)

i am not a fan of the "standard" LM theme with blue and red, but i think the green weapons, and the different take on the shields really knocks it up a notch. you will have a great looking army when done :)

ps. the pic on your oldblood seems broken.

Nice, I like the paler blue of the saurus and the weapon colouring.

Personally I find the cold ones are a bit bright, I prefer using more subdued colours but good work. I like you're originality with the banner colours.

Not a fan of the GW color scheme but you have thrown in some other nice colors in there to make it 'your own.' Nicely done and keep up the good work. I've had my lizardmen for probably 3 years now and don't even have one fully painted model.

Ya I noticed that most people don't like the blue but that was after i started painting. Also as for the weapons i was going to paint them like a purple but i didn't have any but i guess they turned out ok. I'm glad you like them. Also as for the salamanders and terradons, how should I go about painting them. I feel like I can use them to do something different but I want them to go with the rest of my army too. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

PS. I fixed the link to the Oldblood/Scar-Vet

you could use any color on the terradons as long as the skinks remain blue and the bases are done in a similar fashion they will still look like part of the army. try orange or purple or green or whatever really :)

Give more water to paint, make more higlights, this bases look little sad so remember nice bases help in miniatures look. Jewwelery need more work I can make tutorial if someone wanna know how I make jewellery.
Nice idea for green weapon - green blades, I like your colour scheme.
You just need more painting reading tutorials and you can have really nice looking army. :D

I hope I dont make big mistake in language in this post. ;)

The green weapons are definitely great. One tip for the bases would be that a little static grass would go a long way in really bringing the model together.
