    The beginning:
Tehe-Zili's stegadon crashed through the jungle, emerging on a vast plain of burnt grass, a huge army lay on the horizon, easily 2 times the size of that of the lizardmen, but the skaven had taken great insult when a few night goblins had joined the ennemy army. They hated them more then the lizardmen, for before embarking to the southlands the clan had fought many bitter wars with these greenskins, so for this battle they were *allies*, or atleast enemies fighting a common enemy.

    Rats-Lizzies
Taking the initiative, Chun-kata started barking orders, the lizardmen army rushed towards the enemy, their red scales gleamin in the sun, their heads filled only with the thought of sacrifices to the great sotek. The skaven to the left of them were not to be left behind, bloodlust in their eyes, they too continued forward in the name of their ratgod. Sotek may not like it, but in this battle he would be on their side....although that didn't mean he couldn't magically toy with their skryre machinery.....

The wind around Tehe-Zili picked up, reaching to the heavens, he picked a coment from the sky, and was about to bring it down upon his foes, but a dispell scroll read from a liche priest stopped him...

    HE-TK-N Orcs

The tomb prince ordered his army forward, with the other armies doing the same. A flying goblin soars through the air at the fearsome cold ones, but at the last second, the skilled rider rears his mount away, letting it snap the goblin out of mid air. The cold one did not like the squishy texture of the greenskin however, and after snapping it's neck, dropped it to the ground. Suddenly a shrill cry from the skinks goes up as the goblins send a huge spear through 2 of their number.

Meanwhile the skaven were taking casualties aswell, an accurate shot from the high elf bolt thrower skewered 4 clanrats, making Ripfang almost drool with the thought of a nice shishkabob, supposedly a man thing delicacy.

    Lizzies-Rats
Once again the lizardmen and the ratkin surged forwards, and once again to Tehe-Zili's frustration his spell was dispelled by yet another scroll, this time from the goblin shaman.....how many did they have? Where his Comrat butterfingers had failed, Hellstorm would succeed....Invoking the name of the horned rat he cast an almighty warplightning, unstoppable by any means. There was a terrible flash, and when the blinding light stopped only 1 skeleton horseman remained, standing defiant to protect his liche priest.

The skinks creapt towards the carrion and unleashed a deadly volley of poisoned blowdarts, felling one and wounding another. Meanwhile javelins from the fast moving skink cohort kills a night goblin.

    He-Tk-Orcs
The Skink cohort was charged by the night goblins, sending another to its death with a javelin in its head, but they had accomplished their mission....kro-Ax was now close enough for his....The skink skirmishers unleashed another volley, now at the oncoming spider riders, killing one of them before the combat that ensued. The rest of the army moves forward as the carrion charge into the night runners, the wounded one falling to a throwing star expertly thrown into it's neck, only the skeleton horseman and his liche priest are an exception, falling back behind the protection of their elven allies. The goblin shaman began to cast a mighty spell at Kro-Ax, but the power was too much for him, and with a surge of magical enemy the goblin realed backwards, complete with a broken leg (1 wound). His goblin archers fired a hail of arrows, one of them managing to get past Kro-Ax's defenses, leaving him with an arrow in his shield arm. The doom diver fires once again, a flying goblin slamming into one of the cold ones, killing it on impact and sending it's saurus flying off his mount. He was alive, but could play no part in the rest of the battle. Another bolt from the high elves kills 3 more clanrats, while in close combat, 3 skinks are killed by the goblin big boss even as 2 more are killed outright by his goblin minions. The skinks flee and escape.

The skirmishers are not so lucky however, and after losing 5 to the spider riders flee and are caught, with the spiders slamming into Chun-kata and his cold one riders, hungry for blood....

The carrion and the night runners flail hopelessly, but the numbers of the night runners make the undead bird start to crumble.

    Lizzies-Rats
Kro-ax lift his feathered cloak, and screaming praise to the snake-god, slams into the goblin shaman. The 3 remaining javelin skinks rally. The cunning Ripfang sends a unit of slaves right infront of the chariots faces, making annoying chittering sounds....

All the while Tehe-Zili watches from the back of his loyal mount, seeing 5 night runners head towards a goblin unit....which immediately sends out its fanatics! The only fanatic that managed to hit them killed all but one, who promptly fled the battle. Suddenly Tehe-Zili raises his staff high into the air, drawing the arcane winds of magic towards him, the Silver helms were coming towards him at an alarming rate....this would not be allowed. Slamming his staff onto the howdah, he unleashed the full terror of the engine of teh gods, incinerating 3 of them, aswell as 3 spider riders in an instant, sending the little elves fleeing before the might of the lizardmen. Once again he is frustrated as his third succesful casting is scrolled. Unleashing his storm daemon on the spearelves, Hellstorm saw 2 elves fall to the ground, twitching as electricity coursed through their corpses. Leading by example, Chun-kata kills 2 spider riders before the rest are absolutely slaughtered before the raging frenzy of the saurus cold one riders, staining themselves in goblin blood.

Kro-Ax pulled his dagger of sotek high into the air, and with a simple sweeping motion, decapitated his arcane foe, showering himself with blood, only to receive an arrow in the stomach from his subbordenates...cursing, he flew into the jungle, seeking diving healing from the slaan, but he would play no part in the rest of the battle...the last carrion crumbles

    TK-OG-HE
As the squigs charge into the stegadon a hail of javelins leaves only the 2 handlers remaining. Meanwhile, 2 fanatics die as they hit themselves, and the large unit of goblin that was attempting to charge the stegadon flee in terror. Tehe-Zili laughs as he watches this, nothing could stand up to his wonderful pet....

The chariots fall for the trap and, barreling through all the slaves in their way, end up right infront of the frenzied plaguemonks.....another 2 skinks die to the spear chucka, and they flee the field, preferring the safety that the jungle granted, looking back to see the carnage as another goblin slammed into the temple guard, killing 4. The stegadon happily swallows both the goblins whole, happy as he hadn't had breakfast yet today.

    Lizzies-Rats
As the plaguemonks charge the front of the chariots and the Giant rats charge their flank, Tehe-Zili unleashes the Engine again, killing 1 goblin warrior and 4 archers. Tehe-Zili and Hellstorm even managed to draw out the last of the enemy dispell scrolls! Butterfingers, as he would be called forever after this battle, dropped his deathglobe, wounding himself and killing a night runner. Sotek watches with a reptilian grin, seeing the ratling gun explode into a million peaces. The chariots are smashed into little tiny bits, and only 1 plague monk is lost. The plaguemonks overrun forward before The giant rats smash into the flank of the High elf spearmen.

    He-Tk-Orcs
Once again, a fanatic smashes into another pack of night runners, killing 2 and forcing the others to flee the battle. With the fearless night runners losing 2 to their own fanatic whilst charging into the giant rats flank. Tehe-Zili looks up to see a high elf bolt flying through the air, it pearces his stomach, he falls to the ground of the howdah, using magic to keep himself alive, and after removing the bolt, sealing the wound. This would inevitably however, keep him out of the battle for good, his full attention was needed to focus on the task at hand. A hail of arrows from the high elves killa plaguemonk.

In combat a high elf spears a giant rat, who flee, escaping while the high elves follow them, slamming into a unit of clanrats while the goblins land right infront of the other.

    Rat+liz
The Stegadon bellowed so loudly that the goblins it were charging turned to flee in terror, only to be skewered by its horns, crushed underneath, and quite a few which were pulled up in nets for sacrifices to the great sotek. Tehe-Zili still focusing fully on his wounds. Giant rats dont rally and continue their flight.

Intent on blood, chun-kata and his cold ones slam into the silver Helms, and the frenzied plague cencers charge some night goblins in the flank. Plaguemonks charge a tomb scorpion and the saurus slam into another unit of night goblins with a big boss in it. The Rat ogres slam into the black orcs.

Hellstorm zaps 2 clanrats and 4 spearmen, and butterfingers warpscroll kills 6 of the spear elves, leaving them with only 5 of their number. A javelin from the skinks lays down one of the newly revived horseman.

A rat ogre smashes the black orc big boss with his massive arms, horribly wounding the orc, who, after losing a black orc to the beasts, retaliates with his underlings to slay 1 of the beasts, who flee and escape.

The plaguemonks wound the scorpion, and watch as it misses and crumbles then they overrun into archer elves. The charging saurus kill 3 goblins, but the cursed big boss kills 3 of them using wollopa's one hit wunda.

Chun-Kata challenges the noble to glorious 1 on 1 combat, a duel between 2 army generals. The brave (or stupid?) noble accepts, and after Chun-kata blocks his blows, he smashed the high elf off his mount, horribly wounding him and knocking him unconcious, the last thing the noble saw then was the death of all of his silver helm comrads at the might of the cold one riders. Satisfied, Chun-Kata lifted the bloody noble from the ground, removing his weaponry and tying him to the back of his mount...Chun-kata was a very smart saurus!

Even though outnumbered, the spearelves courage did not fail, after killing a rat and losing one of their own, they still held their ground. The Plague censers kill a total of 10 night goblins themselves, leaving their gas to kill another 2, they rushed after the goblins catching them and then ending infront of the spearelves, who didn't notice as they fought the clanrats.

    HE-TK-Orcs
The fanatic spins round and round again. Seeing the terrifying stegadon infront of them, the biguns flee,
losing 2 to the fanatic, the skeleton warriors charged the plaguemonks in the flank. Ro's continue to flee as do the giant rats. A flying goblin slams into the cold ones, killing 3 whilst the spear chukka fells another, leaving chun-kata with a single guard. The HE bolt thrower misses atlast.

The noble High elves spear another clanrat, but this time the overwhelming odds force them to flee....luckily escaping.

The goblin big boss leaps in the air, slaying 2 saurus, and his unit does the same....Unluckily for them, the saurus are now VERY angry. With a series of blow's thought impossible, the remaining saurus slay 7 goblins, forcing their stubborn opponents to flee and slamming into the spear chukka!

A frothing Plaguemonk champion squeeks to the skeletons a challenge, accepted by a highly ornamented skeleton with 2 blades. With expert precision the plaguemonk is dropped to the ground, bleeding heavily from his neck. Another plaguemonk is smashed on the head by a skeletons mace and yet another is cut in half by the tomb prince himself. The archers kill 1 themselves, before the plaguemonks return the favour, killing 5 archers and 2 skeletons, tying the combat.

    Last turn-Skaven-Lizardmen

The ratogres rally, but the cowardly giant rats flee the battle. Chun-Kata roars in rage, charging into the night goblins that were already fleeing. As they fled the battle he reached out and grabbed the squirming big boss, lifting him up and knocking him out with an amazing punch to the head. Handing the unconcious Goblin to his subordinate, they tied it to the back of his cold one, yet another meal for the serpants at the temple of sotek.... The stegadon roars in defiance and slams into the flank of the high elf archers while the Plague censers do the same to the skeletons, making this a massive combat involving a stegadon, archers, skeletons, plaguemonks and plague censers. A blast of warplightning kills all the High elf crewman for the Bolt thrower! A deathglobe lands amongst the fleeing spearmen, leaving only 2 alive.

Plague censer gas kills a single skeleton, their flails killing another 9! The stegadon gored 6 archers with its horns before eating 2 more, only after they killed a plaguemonk, followed by the noble who killed another 3. On the howdah, the skinks reach down stabbing another archer as a few of them attend to Tehe-Zili's wounds, helping him in his magical battle as best they can. The skeletons kill a plaguemonk and so does the prince, however, all but 1 skeleton and the prince crumble, the high elves intent on making one last stand... The night runenrs fighting blackorcs have 2 die and flee.

    Enemies- last turn

As the Biguns flee the battle, the skeletal spearmen charge the into the stegadon, adding to the massive combat. 2 horseman are raised by incantation of the liche priests, a tonne of spears stab and kill all of the spear chukka crew.

In the massive combat, 2 plague censers die to their own gas, whilst the brave noble takes on the stegadon, who takes 2 nasty gashes to the head. The plaguemonks manage to kill the last archer and the last skeleton but one of them is struck down by the tomb prince. The spear skeletons can't hurt the massive stegadon with their spears, but the hungry beast looks down upon the pointy eared thing that hurt it. Opening its massive maw, the create took the elf up, and raining blood all over the survivors, swallowed the poor elf. The armies of the undead and the orcs began to fall back, without even a single High elf survivor, except for 2 fleeing spearelves.... The skaven began to march back to their domain, carrying some lovely shikabobs, whilst the lizardmen returned to their temple city, Kro-Ax and Tehe-Zili receiving the slaans aid with their wounds, and Several enemy champions being devoured in the temple of sotek....

End game! Solid victory for the lizards and Rats!

Most valuable lizard-Tehe-zili and his stegadon!

Most hated enemy- HE bolt thrower- YOU KILLED MY PRIEST!!!!

Funniest unit- Butterfingers.....dropped a deathglobe on himself twice...

Most valuable ally- warlock engineers-deadly magic....

Thats the thing, the skaven and lizardmen side is about 3000 points, and the other team was almost 4000

This is because we had 5 different armies- me and the skaven player are older then the TK and OG player, and if either of we had a team of 3 it would be pretty unfair, so we just did that ( the HE player is a little older than me, but a bit less experienced....although this game made him have fun....curse bolt

Wow, love the detail here man, much better then the ones GW is making, my only question is, where's the diagrams? :p

Really, love this battle, sounds like alot of fun, i hope i can have one like it. Another thing i love is that it seems no really important Lizardmen died.... funny that... they were only badly maimed, but not beyond healing... hmmmm, bias much? :p

BUt really, loved it. How many points would you play one of those things on anyway, i want to know because i want to organise one.

The reason that enemy characters died were that they don't name them, making them nameless heroes- unlike my heroes which I like to repeat- and those of the skaven player- Tehe-Zili is actually my favourite character, and I like to tell battle reports from his perspective.

Oh, and Even if they were named I would have killed the TK players characters anyways, and just say they were magically revived after the battle or something

I will probably think of including diagrams in the future....

Ah... good to see yu're not bias :)

Diagrams would be good, but how accurate could you make them?
Hmmm.... maybe i'll write a battle repot for the 2000 points battle i'll be having.
