8th Ed. Battle Report: High Elves vs Lizardmen 1750 points each

You've been really unlucky with the EotG and the salamander most of all!!!
Sallies against elves are simply amazing!
maybe a small unit of chamos could help against the bolthrower...and...why didn't you shoot at the HE mage with yoir skinks?
 
Yep that's pretty much my experience against High Elves on an empty table.
Be sure to have lots of terrain on the table that blocks line of sight next time.
 
You're right! With all the terrains, at least he should have moved a bit his units! so...malus for shooting!
However I like your list!

@ robob90: I did want to shoot the archmage, however he had the Foraithe Robe and can therefor only be hit be magical attacks. I was unlucky with the early loss of my salamander and ancient stegadon. Also Pit of Shades almost wiped out my temple guard.

@ n810: I was a bit down, because I forgot the bring my terrain pieces, I left it at my home. That's why the table was so empty. Also, I could have use the skink skirmishers to block the salamander a bit. Next time I will remember...

Next time we are planning on 2000 pionts each. That should be exciting!
