    Hey! Merry lizard Christmas.

Had a match yesterday at the local GW. Was a 2vs1 with 2x700 pts vs 1400 pts - death and seraphon vs SCE/Sylvaneth.

    My 700 pts were

    Skink starpriest
    20x Skinks
    10x Warriors
    4x Razordons
    4x Razordons
    2x Razordons

Was a Close match but the Opponent called the razordons lame and op a lot, also he called death lame with the +6 DM-roll. I like my dinos and think they are stong, but not unbeatable. Still, i dont want to be that guy with cheesy lists and stuff. Im kinda new to AoS myself.
In some weeks we got a big game at the GW, like a 3v3 or 4v4, depends on how many show up. It will be at 1000pts per Person. im going for

    Leaders
    Saurus Astrolith Bearer
    (160)
    Skink Starpriest(80)

    Battleline
    40 x Skinks(200)
    -Meteoric Javelins & Star Bucklers
    20 x Saurus Warriors(200)
    -Clubs

    Units
    4 x Razordons(160)
    4 x Razordons(160)
    1 x Salamanders(40)

What do you guys think? Is it cheesy? Am i a cheeselover?

    Lol calling Razordons Cheese....
    They aren't.
    Go for it.

The only thing I would change are the 20 Saurus. IMO 20 Saurus Warriors aren't worth it. I'd play another unit of 40 Skinks instead.

So how did you get so many razordons? Did you do a conversion too? Did you find they worked well in big units?

Coming from a guy who plays SCE, literally one of the cheesiest armies and Sylvaneth, which used to be the cheesiest army, I would tell your opponent to STFU! If someone calls razordons OP then they aren't playing the game right.

Yea, the hell was he doing to come to that conclusion... either he's fighting in a terribly weird way or you were having godlike luck with your rolls.
Also that's a lot of razordons, where'd you get em from?

Yeah, would love to do that. But i dont have that many Skinks yet. :) Still have to build some of the 40 and paint em. ;) My plan with the warriors are to hold objectives and maybe put some razors behind em for incoming charges.

I think the razordons are stronger in lower Point games maybe? Dunno.

I read a thread here in the Forum where someone pointed out, that the dark elve models have dinos and can be converted nicely. But instead of buying some DelfRiders i looked on eBay at that time and found 15 cold ones (the old models who dont look dumb :D) and bought em for like 13€.
So I converted myself 12 coldones to razordons:
I simply added some feathers and iron thorns to their neck and made Spikes of green stuff and added them to their back. :)
If you want i can Show you some Pictures, when i finished painting them.
Also i got myself 1 of the old metal Salamanders with Skink handlers. Use the handlers when i Play some more razors and no Astrobanner.

I do. In Units of 4 they are strong. They have a 4+ save and 3 wounds each. If you run them behind some meleeunits or so and they get charged in 3" of the razors you get f.e. 8w6 attacks to strike first. heavy. Imagine porting 4 Razordons behind enemy lines in cover and in range on Heros or so. ;)
in the match i pointed out i even rolled a 6 and got myself within 6" for the -1 rend. brutal. :D

So i am with you, they are strong for their 40 Points but not too strong. Maybe they seem so strong in low Point games? dunno.

    cheers

    Yeah, pretty much.
Razors are strong, especially 4 of them that shoot at 12" with teleport and rerolls of 1s with the right constellation.
But for OP things they should look at themselves.
