Hi, I was wondering how these two attributes interact. Do you roll 4 dice and take 1 highest and 1 lowest? Or what? Thanks for any input!

i dont have the book on me but im pretty sure it says (it was the same in the previous faq i think too) that you roll 1 extra dice and remove the highest roll, so youd roll 2 standard, plus 1 for CB plus 1 for bloodroar and take away the highest

Statistically it would be the same as rolling just a regular leadership test, right? But yah, I recall in the prior LM FAQ it was stated that you should use all the required dice for the test.

No. Rolling 4 dice and dropping the high and the low is going to drive the result closing to the middle of the curve. Which is very good for the Ld8 army.
