Alternative list was to use oldblood as a steadfast roadblock on anything i didnt want to fight Oldblood on cold one (1+ rerollable /5 + ) crown of command,dawnstone,Warrior bane, Armour of fortune .. Only own 2 mounted options,the old blood on foot (use the temple guard champion model) Anyways look forward to your feedback
You didn't list a BSB. I presume the Slann is the BSB? I'd give the Oldblood a great weapon too. Ironcurse Icon can go on the TG champion.
Regarding the BSB - Slann is this,forgot to list this Can't find a saving of 1 point to put the Ironcurse icon on the templeguard,but with 3 lone scar vets thinking they will be the target should warmachines be shooting.. will have a play and get GW on him,though he loses 1AS and a parry,and his initiative is 4 which isnt terrible
Already has a ward so the parry save doesn't matter. Could go Halberd, keeps the shield for shooting. Or a cheap magic sword and keep the shield.
Based on the feedback,have made a few modifcations and strengthened the saurus block along with changing the Oldblood As I only own 2x cold one mounted models will run 2x foot scar vets, (3 scar vetrs, 1 old blood) I guess I was trying to maximise my utility by having them outside the unit ,for flank charges,chopping up monsters etc .Have edited with a few changes
I'd consider dropping the GW on your last Scar-Vet. Hand Weapon and Shield might suit him better with the 3+/6++ save. Strength 7 is pretty nice though. That's all I can think of. Looks like a solid list.
Looks hard as nails. I might drop a chameleon to buy the lone salamander an extra skink handler, also I think you need 21 temple guard to get a full 5x5, but thats just nitpicking, the list looks strong and symmetry is overrated.
