I just thought of a question. Can a bound item be used if the character that has it has failed a spell casting attempt? Example: Slann tries to cast Briona's time warp (higher value) and it fails to go off (dice gods not pleased). Can the slann then use the blood statuette of spite? I would say yes because the item has the spell, not the character using the item. What do you guys think? Is there a rule precedence for this?
