Discussion BowLizards (...not skinks; but saurus...)

That looks pretty old school; I've never seen anything like that. I wonder if it is indeed from citadel/warhammer.
 
I actually really doubt it is Gw. Nice mini though

I will try to find it on the stuff of legends website (solegends.com), they have scanned all old gw catalogi

Edit: this is the closest thing i could find. Not really that helpfull, but does prove atleast that there were pre slotta lizards with bow. http://www.solegends.com/citcat1983comp1/citcomp1033-02.htm

Yeah, not GW. Prior to the old Slab Saurus, all our models were froggies. With lobotomized slaves to do our dirty work. Ahh, the good old days...

We did have short bows back in 5th edition though. On the Skinks anyway. Saurus have been BS0 as long as they've been around.

Yeah, it looks as if it has some sort of strange "coating" over it. Either that, or it looks as though it is cast from some other strange material.

yea it's GW/citadel I have seen tem in stuff of Legends before,
they are actually later than the earlier Troglodon lizards that started everything.
I believe this version was loosely allied with the skinny slann army (the slann acted like skinks then).

ok it looks like the bow lizard may have come out in '86
