Hey All, I have a 1500pt. arranged battle this week. The Bretonnia's have ridden down on our lands and need to be crushed. EOTG, lvl 2, Tepok, Amulet Itzl - 435 2x18 Saurus Standard, Music, Spears 3x10 Skirmishers 2x10 Cohort 3 terradons My question is now, What do I do with the remaining points. Normally I bring a scroll caddy, another unit of skirmishers, and another terradon, but I know I wont need more than my lvl2 on the EOTG. So do I bring a unit of CoC led by a armor ripping Scarvet? Do I bring more Saurus? I have 197 left: so not a lot of options. Thanks guys! I will post up the Battle Report once its done
i suggest a scar vet either with GW on foot or BBoC on CO. also some salmanders might be nice since they wound on a 4+, modify bret armor to 5+ and make them test for panic... its allways nice when a lance starts fleeing
As Bibamus said, you can take a Scar veteran on foot with LA, GW AND the Jaguar charm, and still save points for a Sally, what leaves you with one leftover point.
Perfect. So my question, when do I run my scar vet out of my saurus? and whats the leadership range of brettonnia knights? Which are the best targets for my salis?
All knights have Ld8, grail knights are ITP. With your sala, fire at everything really. If he chases your sala, that's good...his lance now chases an 80 point unit I'd rather see a BSB in your list than a CotJW vet... His lances hit hard, and you only need to hold. After that, he's toast. A scarvet BSB is the solution, as he can be a can-opener and wave the big flag. Combine this with your 2 Rock-solid units. And all the skinks to divert, you're in for a good one. The Hunted
Thanks Haunted, that sounds perfect. I'm not sure what I'll do with the remaining points, but it will probably be camo skinks or something. I will post a battle report once the game has been played
