Ok, long story short: I often fight a friend of mine who resently tend to go big on chaos fighting warriors, and as you probably know, the are both stronge and durable naked. Put some godly gifts and magic item on'em and you find yourself facing demigods! Questin is: How do we take them down? Here Is my tactic: First I go for a Slann as my General, and pick spells that ignore armor save.. Then I'll try luring him into a trapp, kinda like the pincer move. Units who take a charge, and then counter-charge from both sides. That shoul probobly do the trick, but it is a bold plan, and very difficult to pull throu... Any better Ides
Are these characters alone that you refer to? or on deamonic mounts? or in units? Each will require I different approach
Ofcours I can't know how the battlefields gona look like, but he really like mounted fighting characters, giving them mark of tzeentzh and morslieb armor wich gives the hero 3+ ward save in addision to his already high armor save on 1+ or 0+, often in groupe with kights, and that makes one sick unit to deal with. Any suggestions on tactics when dealing with mounted/one foot character in unit/on his own?
3 weeks ago I had a lizzy player do the burning iron/bane head trick and killed my BSB on a daemonic mount durning turn 1.
Thats sick! Sorry, my condolence.. But still! Wow No, seriously I'm thinking of Lore of Metal, and to try to keep away from the most dangerous units until I have taken some wounds at least. Last time we met, I managed to outmanouver his Chaos Warriors and they never engaged in combat! Lots of wasted points for the Chaos player
Is burning iron spell a flaming attack? My friend who is a high elf player always takes almost immortal heroes on dragons and makes them immune to flaming attacks somehow.
You're High Elf friend is referring to Dragon Armor which is an irritating armor only High Elves have. Their fighting characters and Dragon Princes wear it, which makes them immune to flaming attacks. However, a Chaos warrior or Orc is not so lucky!
