1000 Point List Lords Saurus Oldblood shield. Heroes Skink Priest Level 2 Wizard Core 25 Saurus Warriors Saurus Champion; Musician; Standard Bearer. 11 Skink Skirmishers Skink Skirmisher Brave. Special 14 Temple Guard Revered Guardian; Musician; Standard Bearer. A bit of clarification: 14 Temple Guard because I intend to put the Oldblood in there. 11 Skink Skirmishers because that's the number of skinks I have and I want a tiny bit of shooty in the army. That's a total of 900 points, so I can add 100 points in some combination of the following this (given the models I have) Magic Items on Priest / Oldblood Up to 9 more Saurus Warriors Up to 6 more Temple Guard Remove some points somewhere and put in CoC Any thoughts? I'm going to play my first lizard games this weekend and play around with some lists I'll let you all know how they go!
for 1000, take out the oldblood you get a scar vet with some cool gears, and for 1000 pts, a scar vet is a toughnut to crack your next purchase or conversion shoul dbe chameleons try making the temple guard a bit bigger for the remainder of your points
Why would you suggest them over something else? So if I add 5 Temple Guard, one more Saurus and make the OldBlood A Scar-Vet, it looks like this. Then I have 62 points of Magic Items I can split between my Heroes. 1000 Point List Heroes Saurus Scar-Veteran Shield. Skink Priest Level 2 Wizard Core 26 Saurus Warriors Saurus Champion; Musician; Standard Bearer. 11 Skink Skirmishers Skink Skirmisher Brave. Special 19 Temple Guard Revered Guardian; Musician; Standard Bearer.
because salamanders are one awesome unit! give your scar vet : light armour shield dragonhelm burning blades of chotec put dispel scroll on your skink priest if u got some points eft, maybe a nice banner on your TG
If I put the Banner of Eternal Flame on the unit of TG to get flame attacks on the unit, would it apply to my SV in with them? and if so... should I skip the burning blade? EDIT: Just reread the flaming attacks rules. Screw that.
I wouldn't take the temple guard at 1000 points: they're quite expensive, and sauri are enough powerful in my opinion. I'd prefer to have points for chameleon skinks or salamanders. My advice is to drop the temple guards for another unit of 20 sauri, or make a sigle unit composed by 30 sauri and take more skink skirmishers or chameleon skinks. You also could drop your scar vet to have more points for the units. A skrox cohort, in example, would be great against almost everything (elite fighers and enemy heroes too)
