As the title. I bought one of the made to order Tehenhauin models, painted it and left it on my self! the warscroll seems to has some really great abilities on it. Is it still a model than can be integrated into a seraphon list or do I have to take it as a regular ol' Priest?
I recently finished painting mine and LOVe the model. You can take him as an ally, but he won't have the 'SERAPHON' keyword.
In friendly/open/narrative games, sure. In tournaments, unfortunately not. I also like the model and will paint it soon.
Just pretend he has the seraphon keyword, cuz not having it is stupid. Personally I also stick him with a 100 point cost cuz that seems fair-ish. That should be enough to use it in friendly games.
Agree, 100 points fits fairly well. Btw: @Canas and others how many points do you give Oxyotl with his new warscroll? I would also give him around 100 I think.
I gave both a 100 points. Neither of em seem to be powerfull enough to warrant a higher score. I also figured it'd be save to use them as a standin in any battalion that requires a skink (star)priest since they're all fairly similar in power and this way you can fit them in relativly nicely.
I agree totally here, why re-release a model and not give it a warscroll that fits with your latest game type, GW should over haul all the old warscrolls to fit into the AOS universe.
the weird thing is that they have kept some of the named characters, turning them into generic heroes (Chakax - Eternity warden, just to name one), while some of them have been simply discarded. Bad move.
