So having had a chat with my lad and where to spend his hard earned pocket money he's decided to go for a box of Cold One Cavalry as his next purchase.

Is it worth putting the carnosaur mounted old blood in with this unit for a bit of extra hitting power?

    Any advice would be great.

    Cheers

Before 8th edition came out this was a common thing. However, 8th edition has removed this ability from Monsters with riders. I do not think you can run them togehter. Not sure where the rule is in the book though.

I could be wrong as well.

Still, having them in the same army is a good idea, use the carnie as a flanker.

Arli, you are correct (I just checked)

Page 105 is very clear, characters on a monster may not join units.

Well that's one idea out of the window.

I don't think that will dissuade him from getting the Cavalry though, he likes the models :)

n810, we'll have a chat about tactics next game once they're bought assembled and painted.

    Cheers
