7th Ed. Chameleon skinks?

Does anyone use chameleon skinks?
Are they worthwhile?
What do you use them for and what are they good at?

It is a long thread posted, but worth the read. Definitely sums them up nicely and gives an opinion from all angles. I haven't tried them yet, but I will at some point.

 

I use chameleon skinks for warmachine crew hunting. And also for killing monster handlers.

 

I suppose they would be ideally placed to put the hurt on big monsters, great daemons as well.

 

once again my 7 Chameleons took it to the win

playing against DE, Chaos W combo
we both deploy 12inch from edge.

the chaos play does this rediculius 12 wide super chaos Knights all ubered up and ready to go.
I deploy 11 inches away. ...

the chaos and de got to deploy a extra d6 inches they rolled a 4. so im good

i shoot. kill 3. LOL 70 + point off the bat.
... so worth the points when a opponent says.. FUCK 70 points from fucking 1's

Chams are extremely good at shooting big scary things. Giants drop like flies, and even something like a bloodthirster feels a mortal chill run up its spine after it starts seeing those 6's to hit. Gotta love poison. I call my Chameleon skinks Commando skinks instead because of my success with them.

I'm loving chameleon skinks more and more.

Think about it...
They infiltrate behind enemylines, blend into their surrounding, stealthy, and better at trained at taking down the enemy. Hell, they should be called "commando skinks" or even "Rambo skinks."

 

So butch, even an AK-47 looks small.

 

Its not the size of yer blowpipe its how you use it! Hehe, that is funny though. Rambo Skinks... I'm so painting my stalker to resemble Rambo from first blood.

 

...Also, chameleon skinks are 12 points, and have the exact same stat line as a Brave. Meaning you get an entire unit of Bave's for -1 points a model, while getting scouting for free.

Cuachicqueh: That'll be awesome. Really you should greenstuff all of them with red sweat-bands.
Why do you use a stalker? I never use it because it brings up the cost of the unit.

 

I dont upgrade the stalker in the unit, when i say stalker im referring to the model with the hand weapon pointed forwards. I will snip that off and give him a machete with a red bandana. Nice. Seriously, I never leave the house without at least 6 Rambo Skinks.
