Hello. How does this actually work. Unit A makes a charge, unit B flees, both roll high enough to go over the board. Now does the charger also go outside the battlefield or doesit stop at the edge, or is it automatically a failed charge since unit B runs outside the board? Im not sure... -beachpanda
The charger gges off the board. On your next turn that unit returns to the battlefield. Place it on the board edge where it left and you can make a regular movement (not march or charge)
Those are the rules for pursuing. But how about charging. I cannot find anything on the rulebook. Can u perhapspoint me to the right page? Or has it been FAQ'd? Thank you.
The edge of the table is impassable terrain. You cannot charge through impassable terrain. The charging unit would fail it's charge, since it cannot hit the unit that fled (which was already destroyed when it fled off the table). The charging unit would move it's failed charge, and if that is still enough to hit the table edge (impassable terrain) it would stop 1" short. Pursuit as the exception that allows off the table movement; charging does not. -Matt
