8th Ed. Charging salamanders/razordons in the rear.

When a salamander gets charged in the rear, how do they form up?

Do the salamanders face away, and the skinks all get killed first? With the monster and handler rules I thought the skinks were always not involved in the combat.

Per the monster and handler rules, all attacks target the salamander (or razordon)and the skinks get thier attacks around the salamander. On the rear, 2 would get to attack, on the flanks 2 as well. Then if the wound hits and is not saved (on the sallies armor save), you roll a dice for each wound, on a 5+, a handler takes the wound.
