    Hey Guys,

I just started Warhammer a couple months ago and wanted to build a 2000 point list as cheap as possible (I'm a university student). Suggestions would be nice for next buy or possible decent list.

So this is what I got.

    Slann
    Scar-Vet
    2x Skink Chiefs
    2X Skink Priests
    24x skinks
    24x saurus
    8x cold on riders
    2x jungle swarms

I haven't been doing well in battles. Don't know if its because I suck or my army sucks... I just got destroyed by a dwarf army tonight.. sigh

    Suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Where they dwarf shooting armies? They are hard to beat.

I made this maxed out list for you, to battle dwarves with, however somehow I missed you had a slann there which changes things emensly, but I figured what the hell. I'll just post this anyhow, I'm too tired to make a Slann list so maybe this can inspire you at least.

This list is SacredSpawning of Tlazcotl so that you can get lore of metal and melt the dwarves.

    Enjoy :)

Havn't tested this army yet, but think I would go for something like this. Never playd Dwarfs before, but this army was designed to get Chaos Warriors. You could leave out the stegi, make the salamanders a pack of 3, and have points left for fiddeling the main troop though...

    GENERAL:
Oldblood light armor, shield, great weapon, Bane Head 481 pts
Gleaming Pendant of Chotec, Glyph Necklace
Ride Carnosaur, Blessed Spawning of Itzl,
    Blessed Spawning of Quetzl

    CHARACTERS:
Scar-Veteran: Aura of Quetzl, Charm of the Jaguar Warrior, 143 pts
    shield, light armour, great weapon

Skink priest: lev. 2, Cloak of Feathers 130 pts

    CORE:
16 Saurus Warriors full command 210 pts
10 Skink with blowpipes 60 pts
10 Skink with blowpipes 60 pts
10 Skink with blowpipes scouts 70 pts
    2 Swarms 120 pts

    SPECIAL:
    3 Kroxigor 174 pts
    15 Saurus Warriors full command
with Blessed Spawning of Quetzl 240 pts
    RARE:
    1 Stegadon 235 pts
1 Salamander hunting pack 65 pts

    = 2.000 pts

Absolutely. I've used a Stegadon now in several of my games and I don't yet have the model. As of right now I use an empty chariot base and as long as your opponent knows which way it's facing, it can save you $35 (or whatever the current price is) if you decide you don't like it.
