So, my only question is whether or not the rule for making up units entirely of characters goes with the terradon rule that a hero on it can join units on terradons. That being the case I know I'd be sending them in with at LEAST three fodder-dons but that would be a sweet elite unit. at 89 ppm it could get expensive but theres still plenty of room for magic items of killyness
IMO it is probably possible. And I guess it would be a load of fun at least and some potential killingness. But Im not sure if they are worth the points. In a smaller battle you would spend up almost all your hero points on one unit. I would only field this kind of tactic in a larger battle where you spend the points. (dont forget that even skink brave's still dont have a high Ld. Without a boost it can get dangerous. I once had a unit of terradons whiped out by a sudden arrival of a banshee :S)
It is possible though, IMO not worth it. You are basically paying at least fifty points more per models for a unit that functions in an identical form as Terradons. Sure they have S4 and three attacks, but if any light bowfire hits them and panics them they are a huge loss of points. And with the new infantry rules, they just would not be able to take on any infantry unit really.
