Hi all,
Like I said on the presentation category, I have start a Chupayotl army five years ago, with a lot of different things, Gw models (most of), Reap*r models, green stuff and others...
I was not a good painter/sculptor five years ago, and I'm not a pro for now, I'm slowly "learning" of my side :)

So let's begin with a saurus:

5 years ago and first version (I was a little guy):DSCN0057.JPG DSCN0058.JPG

And the version of... tonight x) :

I have try to make better gills, corals, crest and fins. I have also make the "moustaches" more fine.
And at the end I have begin to cut and sculpt the blade of the spear, for give to them an aquatic/harpoon effect.

I'm also on others conversions, but I will talk of that later :)

Any suggestions are welcome !

Looks sexy :D

Looking at your first picture I think the painting could do it more justice. It feel as if the scales and fin is seperated due to color :)

These guys look incredible! Really awesome job on the green stuff and the paint job!

That looks pretty awesome!
Even the one you did 5 years ago looks good. I can't use green stuff for the life of me.

Really nice!
Both versions are looking good. One of the coolest thing that can happen to a saurus. ;)

I really like your conversion... I have never thought to acquatic-saurus... Good idea.
And i love MUSTACHES!!!
I can't wait to see your next model...

Hi all, thanks for answers :)

Yeah, I agree with you Pinktaco, I'll change the coulours anyway, but I want to keep the basic idea: skin blue/and green shade for the rest, or maybe only different shade of green for all. It's difficult for me to choose a plan of colour...

Before painting him, I continued my Slann Xel-tek on his mount Elehuixy, the giant alligator-turtle. Like the saurus, I began her five years ago. Like I said before, I only play with friends, so we have managed rules for the turtle based on the stegadon rule's, but she's more slowly (3"), more resistant, and less offensive.
She's not ended, made with a toy base, I sculpt scales, corals, shells, part of snout, and claws.
The slann is also different, but I'll talk of him another time. The great "branch" on the draw will be big white corals. With the big clam/scallop beside the slann, they will constitue the great banner of my army (for now).

Any suggestion(s) are welcome !
I hope you'll understand me, my english isn't so good :p

So here is a plan quickly made:

Wow, Amarok. That's a unique and dramatic take on an army you have there.

You should post the Elehuixy sketch here and any other concept art you have in the fluff forum. Have you written a background for your damp champions?

Wow...I wish I had looked at this before doing my sculpting competition entry. I've also got a Chupayotl theme...but not nearly as detailed. This is cool stuff!

Very nice, looking forward to seeing more of this.
