Hello everyone. My name is Duke, and I am an alcho...wait wrong introdution. I am Duke and I have been a long time reader of the Fantasy world, enjoying the back stories of the armies and many exploits. I also have several friends who have played Warhammer, and I have always watched from the sidelines but never got into the games.

After a quite a bit of peer pressure, I am going to take the dive. I spent a lot of time doing research on the armies, as looking at the models and background. I have friends that are well established into the armies of Warhammer ranging from Ogres to Orcs and Gobbos, High Elves, Chaos, Dwarves, Vampires, Skaven, the list could go on, but there were just 2 armies that were not represented. Dark Elves and Lizardmen, and while the models may have been newer, I find Elves to be too boorish and frail, so my future Lizardmen army was born in my brain.

I admit here an dnow that I know very little if anything, and I do not pretend to know the ins and out of the game, just a few things I have picked up reading a couple of other areas online for basics and looking at the armybook and rulebook. I want to learn more, learn how to utilize my army to its potential and how to better bring the will of the Old Ones upon the younger races. That is my goal, what I hope to acheive here, and I look forward to getting started.

Welcome to the Forums Duke! If we can help in any way, please let us know. I saw in another post that you thought there would be more activity on the forums. It comes and goes, but rest assured, there are plenty of us on.
