Can the CO go in the block?
Does the rider get lookout sir?
Can the rider get picked out from shooting?

Are you talking about a single Cold One Rider or a Scar Vet or an Oldblood on a Cold One? Characters riding a Cold One can join a unit of Saurus Warriors, but they have to be on the side of the unit, as the base sizes differ. He doesn't get a Look Out Sir as they are different unit type. To my understanding, you have to randomize the shooting, so the character can be hit if every Saurus Warrior in the unit is hit. On the other hand, a single Cold One Rider... I can't think of a way you can add him to a unit of Saurus Warriors...

Single SacrVet on a CO entering a saurus unit.

I've seen in numerous youtube Battle Reps,of people placing SV CO's in saurus units. I want to clarify if its legal.

So you randomize the shooting if a enemy shoots the unit?

The base footprint can fit into the unit, it's 25mm wide and 50mm long. Dunno what that means though.

Yes he can go in the saurus block, displacing 2 saurus warriors.

No he can not get a look out sir.

No, you do not randomize shooting unless there are fewer than 5 rank and file saurus warriors (including musician and standard bearer) in the unit.

And no, he can not be "picked out" unless the shooter has the sniper special rule.

I beleive it means you can displace 2 saurus to put him in the unit.
like:

SSSSC

SSSSS
SS

as say trying to but him in a cohort unit where their bases dont match.
like:

sssssC
sssssC
sssss
