Colour Scheme Help.

I am in the process of painting my first lizardmen and have started with Skinks.

The main skin colour is darkish green with the scales painted in a lighter green.

All is going well until now I have the shields to paint and am a bit stuck as to what colour would fit best.

I have tried a red shield and a cream one but figured this would be the best place to get some advice.

Any suggestions?

I use a green color scheme as well, and I find that brown looks nice.

I've decided to go with the brown shields after a test one.

Will hopefully get some pictures up this week.
