Your list is pretty cool, with the troglodon and all, but im pretty sure the slann isnt allowed to use the araybian carpet, as he is not a model on foot!
He is not, it was pointed out to me some time ago, so you are very much correct. Otheriwse you're looking okay, even though i don't personally see what a unit of 4 rippers could achieve next to a unit of 3. Their frontage gets reduced, the mount loses it's attacks and you're not gonna want the extra numbers for ranks as they're skirmish. All in all i'd say it's a bad deal, but if you can hit a rear charge on a horde, 4 models won't dissapoint though!

I suggest switching to 2 units of 5 ripperdactyls, and using the extra points to hook up your scar-vet with the Armor of Destiny and a great weapon. Units of 3 ripperdactyls don't work as well as slightly larger units, mainly because 1 or 2 tend to die before they can attack.
