I'm putting together a competitive Lizardmen list at 800 pts. I have the core of my army stuck but unsure what do with the last 132 pts. Perhaps you can help me out?

    --------------

    Armycore
    Skink Priest
    Skink Priest

15 Saurus warriors with spears and full command (210 pts)
15 Saurus warriors with spears, standard and musician (183 pts)

    10 Skink Skirmishers with blowpipes

    Salamander

    --------------

The army should be fairly self-explanatory and ticks in at 668 pts, leaving me 132 pts.
Now there are several ways to go with these, things I've been thinking of are:

Upgrade one Skink Priest to lvl 2
Plaque of Tepok to one Priest
    Forbidden Rod to one Priest
    Dispel Scroll
All of these boost the magic output. I really like the Lore of Heavens and think that all the spells will help me out greatly. The drawback is that they sink more points into the squishy priests.

    Getting a Terradon Squad
Another unit of 10 skink skirmishers with blowpipes
    Another Salamander
The two first options will help me getting behind enemy lines, chasing war machines and mages. Also, allow me to use one unit of skinks as meatwall. The terradons seem a bit costly though I'm not sure. Another salamander will really eat stuff up, but again costly at this pointrange.

Removing the champion from the warrior squad and instead add 5 more warriors to the unit
Upgrading to a champion in the second Warrior squad
I really like having champions in the warrior units and and having one unit of 20 warriors at 800 pts can be quite scary, but I wonder if it will help as much as the other options.

    Different combinations of the above
Something I have not thought about (Chameleon skinks?)
Possible combinations are for example the one I am most leaning to at the moment: Priest lvl 2, Terradons.

    --------------

    What are your suggestions?
Also, what do you think are the greatest weakness of this setup? (Not having anything above S4? Perhaps I should skinks + Kroxigor :D)

Its not a bad start, but your points are wrong for the second saurus unit, it should be 198.

    Here are my suggestions:

    2 Skink Priests

Between the two preists, make one level 2 and give the other the plaque of tepok. 4 spells should get you all you really want from the lore, though personally i'd go for 1 priest, not 2.= 180 points

    15 Saurus, Spears, Full command
    15 Saurus, Spears, Standard, Musician

Make both of these with Full Command.=420 points

    10 Skink Skirmishers

If i was you, proxy these skinks as 2 units of 5 chameleons, they are great for harrassing and war machine hunting, harder to hit because of skirmishers and being chameleons and better shots than normal skinks, definately worth the points with poison as well.

    Salamander

A must IMO that will really cause most enemies problems, especially T3 opponents, but take the extra handler.=80 points

This would give you this list:

    Skink Preist- Lvl 2 (general)
    Skink Preist- Plaque Of Tepok

    15 Saurus-Spears, Full Command
    15 Saurus-Spears, Full Command

    5 Chameleon Skinks
    5 Chameleon Skinks

    Salamander- Extra Handler

    Total=800 on the dot.

Keep the preists close enough to friendly units to benefit from a look out sir roll. Chamos scout and harrass/warmachine hunt, salamander marches and shoots where it hurts most, saurus do what saurus do best. Priests hail lightning down on the opponents. If you really wanted a dispel scroll, drop the two saurus champions and the extra handler to get it.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks alot! I will definately change the skinks into chameleons and I think I'll drop the second priest.

    The armycore then looks like:
    Skink Priest lvl2 (100)
15 saurus with spear and FC (210)
15 saurus with spear and FC (210)
    5 chameleon skinks (60)
    5 chameleon skinks (60)
    Salamander + extra handler (80)

That ticks in at 720 leaving 80 pts to play with.

The options I'm thinking about are either
Plaque to Priest and 5 more warriors in one of the saurusunits
    or
    salamander and extra handler

    What do you guys think?

If your going with only one preist, i'd definately give him the plaque of tepok. Then add the 5 extra saurus.

To use the 5 spare points up you could give the preist the iron curse icon for protection from war machines. just in case.

How come you are going with 15-man Saurus units? They will die to good enemy shooting such as cannons or a lucky doom rocket shot. I'd go with one Skink Priest at Level 1 with Diadem of Power for magic defence, and then another Skinks Priest with either the Level 2 upgrade OR Plaque of Tepok. Or replace the second Skink Priest with a Scar Veteran with HW, Shield, and Gold Sigil Sword.
Then go with 20 Saurus with spears with FC, and include a Salamander with extra handler. Then skinks.
