I noticed that the majority of the results on the miscast table result in D6 dice being lost from the power pool. It seems if we miscast, we can transfer the damage part to another wizard, however it seems we still lose the D6 dice from the power pool. Is this correct?

It transfers the entire miscast onto the other wizard. Whatever the results are. You should suffer no effects, the lucky mage who receives the miscast, he is screwed (hopefully).

Right, but the results state, D6 dice are lost from the power pool. There is no specification of whose power pool. Actually, per magic phase there is only one power pool, the side who is allowed to cast magic.

I think that needs a FAQ. Maybe GW will decide the enemy loses dispel dice!

Either way, it's still a win for Lizardmen. By taking focused rumination, the slann gets the free power die that is outside the power pool (as long as you do not have the 12 dice).
