this was probably anaswered somewhere but I suck at searching(for a bio anth essay I searched for aging gene and got gene simmons)

Anyways um if I mis cast and use cup of the old ones what happens if the opponent rolls Things that allow the enemy to cast a free spell, do I get to cast the free spell then?

what if he rolls one where the spell is cast with irresistable force but he forgets the spell?

Some of these sortof only make sense if the caster was the one taking the miscast.

    Q. Page 102. For Cupped Hands of the Old
Ones, how do you solve a result of a 12 on the
    Miscast table?
    A. The Slann casts the spell with irresistible
force. The wizard to whom the miscast is
applied can only ‘forget’ the spell that was
miscast if he knows it himself. For example, if a
Slann miscast the Burning Head spell from the
Lore of Fire and the miscast was applied to an
Empire Fire Wizard in his line of sight, and a
12 was rolled on the miscast table, the Fire
Wizard would forget the spell if he knew it.

    From the Lizardmen FAQ.
